Romans 1:1-7

We are who we are because of God’s provision of grace. Along with the grace of God, we have also been recipients of a purpose. We are recipients of both salvation and mission—“to bring about the obedience of faith for the sake of his name among all the nations.”

In your CG this week, continue to talk about who you are and why you are here. Spend time with this week’s Scriptures below and reflect with the following questions and prompts:

What did you hear from the Scriptures below concerning your identity
and purpose?

Confess how you forget the two together and solely focus on either your identity or purpose. How is remembering both better? Confess to each other and to the Lord, the truth of who you are and why you are here. Use the Scriptures below to aid you in your confession.

Thank the Father for reconciling you to himself and giving you the ministry of reconciliation. Pray for the unreached and the lost. Pray that they would come to be reconciled to God through your ministry. Pray that God would, daily, help you remember who you are and why you’re here.
