Romans 1:19-21

Everyone is being discipled either in the darkness or the light. Therefore, everyone is growing in either the darkness or the light.

In your CG this week, talk about discipleship. How are you growing in the light, or in the truth, as a believer? As you go throughout your days, how do you bring the light to those who are still in darkness? How do you bring the light to those who are in the light? Spend time with this week’s Scriptures below and reflect with the following questions and prompts:

M: Romans 1:18-32 T: Psalm 1:1-6 W: 1 Timothy 1:12-17 TH: Ephesians 4:17-24

According to Ephesians 4:17-24, what are we to not do? Why? What are we to do? Why?

Confess how you still, daily, suppress the truth of God. Confess how you still, daily, participate in ungodliness or unrighteousness? Confess how you are still, daily, a sinner. Confess 1 Timothy 1:15-16. To whom can you display Jesus Christ’s perfect patience?

Pray Psalm 1:1-6. Praise God for calling you out of darkness into the light. Pray earnestly for the Lord to grant you a compassion for those still “darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, due to their hardness of heart” (Eph. 4:18).
